The Studio

A large room, with light coming form a wide glass wall to the South, an old drawing board used as an easel and well lit with daylight, a recess in the wall with two armchairs and a small table, a large billiard table covered with a cloth and surmounted by a lamp, tens of finished drawings and canvases hanging on the walls, this is the set for Geneviève Van der Wielen's work.

This dream studio is located in a house surrounded with gardens, halfway up the hills overhanging the historical centre of Liege, at Montagne de Bueren (De Bueren Hill).
Geneviève settled here in 1977, two years after graduation at St Luc Art School, and this is where she lives and creates since then.
